Dr. Barry Jones serves as Senior Pastor of Irving Bible Church, a vibrant, multiethnic congregation in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, whose mission is “Helping our diverse community follow Jesus and bless the world.” He holds a Ph.D. in theology from Wheaton College, where his work focused on the intersection of spiritual formation and contemporary culture. Before stepping into his role as Senior Pastor, Barry spent 15 years in a seminary context, teaching spiritual formation and pastoral theology while preaching regularly and mentoring emerging leaders. He is a thoughtful and passionate communicator, committed to helping people engage deeply with Scripture, grow in Christlikeness, and live out their faith in the world. He is also co-author of the book Dwell: Life with God for the World, which explores authentic Christian spirituality and incarnational living.

Barry and his wife, Kim, have three children and love sharing adventures together, especially when they involve travel, food, and exploring the beauty of creation
