Rev. Dr. Katie Givens Kime leads the Alliance for Christian Media and serves as the host of "Day1," bringing extensive experience in faith-based media, ministry, and public engagement. She joined ACM in 2022, initially as a grant writer, then as director of a four-year project funded by the Lilly Endowment’s Compelling Preaching Initiative, and later became Interim Executive Director in 2023.

Before her tenure at ACM, Katie was the Director of Religion and Civic Engagement at Odyssey Impact from 2018 to 2022. In this role, she launched and secured funding for the international Odyssey Fellows Program, equipping faith leaders with new media skills.

Katie holds a Master of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary and a Ph.D. from Emory University. She has served as a postdoctoral researcher and instructor at the University of Bern in Switzerland and was the Associate Pastor for Mission, Adult Education, and Young Adults at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Atlanta, Georgia, for six years. Her earlier ministry work includes roles at Marble Collegiate Church and Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church in New York City.

Katie is married to composer Haddon Kime, and they have a daughter named Abby.
